Entrepreneur or Businessperson of the Year
This Award recognizes an Entrepreneur or Businessperson who has achieved extraordinary accomplishments in business or shown dedication and commitment to furthering business in Ulster County.
Business of the Year
This Award goes to an Ulster County business (25+ employees) that is recognized as a leader in its field and has demonstrated a commitment to its employees, customers, clients and to furthering business in Ulster County.
Small Business of the Year
This Award goes to a small business in Ulster County (less than 25 employees) that is recognized as a leader in its field and has demonstrated a commitment to its employees, customers, clients and to furthering business in Ulster County
Tourism or Hospitality Business of the Year
Tourism and Hospitality is one of the largest segments of business in the Ulster County economy. This Award recognizes the excellence and dedication of a business in this industry.
Commitment to the Community
This Award recognizes an outstanding not-for-profit organization that has improved the quality of life for the citizens of Ulster County.
The Heritage Award
This Award is given to a long established (50+ years) local business that has a proud heritage and has had a significant impact on the economy of the Ulster County region.
The Len Cane Heart of Ulster County Award
This Award is given to a local community leader, business, group or organization that has excelled in community spirit, philanthropy, concern for others and has generally improved the quality of life in the Ulster County Region. The award is named in honor of former Chamber of Commerce President Len Cane, who dedicated his life to serving the business community and giving back to his community during his 34 years as Chamber President.
Award Nomination Requirements:
- Open ONLY to members of the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce
- Nominations may be submitted by any business or person in the community
- Nominations must include a completed Nomination Form
- Businesses, organizations or individuals may self-nominate
