 The
Ulster County Office of Employment and Training (UCOET) is a
federally funded, locally operated program offering cost assisted
training and placement services to employers, dislocated workers and
income eligible Ulster County residents. Our mission is to enhance
the economic vitality of Ulster County by developing or upgrading the
skills of job seekers to meet the needs of local employers.
Our services include listing of job openings, applicant
screening/referral, classroom training for demand occupations,
on-the-job training, customized training, career assessment,
referrals to other community resources and job placement assistance.
