MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY AND WEBSITE LISTING
All chamber members are listed alphabetically and by category in our Membership Directory and will receive a complimentary copy of the printed version. y, The membership directory will be available on the Chambers website (www.ulsterchamber.org).  Active links to members’  web pages and e-mails will be included free of charge.

NETWORKING BREAKFAST MEETINGS
Monthly breakfasts  are held at the Kingston Garden Plaza Hotel. They are both educational and informational.  Speakers who are well known and respected are invited to speak and answer questions. Members are encouraged to network with their peers. (Members pay half-price)

NETWORKING BUSINESS-AFTER-HOURS MIXERS:
Monthly Mixers are an ideal opportunity for Ulster Chamber members to meet other business leaders and promote their businesses. A different venue is featured each month with complementary food and drink provided. (No Cost*)

MONTHLY NEWSLETTER
Every month members receive a Newsletter which keeps them informed of Chamber activities, spotlights Chamber members  and updates members on  issues of importance to the business community.

PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
Promote your business by advertising in the chamber newsletter, Community Resource Guied & Membership Directory, sponsoring a chamber breakfast, mixer or other event. Take advantage of the opportunity to insert a flyer in the monthly Newsletter mailed to all Chamber members.

INSURANCE PROGRAMS
Chamber members are offered participation in a variety of insurance programs at reduced group rates.  These include health, dental and long-term disability insurance. New members must select a health insurance program within the first 30 days of their membership or sign up during Open Enrollment in the
month of November.

ENERGY ALLIANCE:
Available exclusively to Ulster County Regional Chamber members we offer discounted electric and natural gas rate plans. These programs can save Chamber members 5-12% on their electric and natural gas bills. LABOR RELATIONS HOTLINE;
Chamber members can subscribe to a legal hotline for ongoing professional advice about employment and labor issues. ($150 per year)

LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS AND ACTIVITIES
The Chamber is the regional voice for local business, with members actively involved in local, statewide and national legislative affairs on behalf of the entire membership. Research is done on the cause and effect of proposed local, state and federal legislation and how it impacts the business community. Follow-up takes place with the appropriate officials. (No Cost*)

REGIONAL REPRESENTATION & PARTNERSHIPS
Chamber officials act as a liaison with other Hudson Valley chambers to represent the interests of our members in regional affairs. (No Cost*)

SERVICE CORPS OF RETIRED EXECUTIVES (SCORE)
SCORE members provide free counseling and referral services to chamber members. The local chapter of SCORE is sponsored by the Ulster Regional  Chamber of Commerce and Ulster County Community College.

WORKSHOPS/SEMINARS:
The Chamber conducts frequent workshops and seminars for our members. (No Cost* or Reduced Cost)

MEMBERSHIP LIST:
The Chamber keeps an up-to-date list of our members, including all contact information, alphabetically and by category. The list can be purchased, only by members, for a one-time use. ($250)

RELOCATION PACKETS:
The Chamber responds to phone calls and email requests from people interested in relocating to Ulster County. We mail each a packet of information about the region. We will insert business cards from Chamber members at an annual cost of $100 or a tri-fold brochure for $150.

RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY:
Promotion of Chamber members opening a new business. The Chamber invites all members via e-mail to attend Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies and publishes in the newsletter following the event. (No Cost*)

SPOTLIGHT ON THE ULSTER COUNTY  REGIONAL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE:
A different Chamber member is a guest on the Chamber’s syndicated half hour radio program every week. It is broadcast on 10 Hudson Valley radio stations. (No Cost*)

TOURISM INFORMATION:
The Chamber helps to promote tourism and local businesses by distributing brochures, visitor maps, responding to thousands of calls and actively working with Ulster County and state tourism offices. (No Cost*)

ULSTER LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE
Members are offered an opportunity to participate in a community leadership training program. This program educates future leaders on the community, local and state government, law enforcement, arts and culture and community development. Upon graduation participants are prepared to serve on local boards and community organizations. The ULDI program is sponsored by M & T Bank. Click here for details. ($950 per semester)
