Title: Fat Ram
Location: Parker Theatre, SUNY New Paltz, Route 32 South, New Paltz.
Description: In this enjoyable play, three oppressed shepherds, tending their flocks, have to contend with greedy landlords, nagging wives and a clever thief who has an eye on their prize ram. Adapted from the Wakefield Medieval cycle plays, "Fat Ram" pays homage to an historical tradition incorporating puppetry, music and stories about the origins of Christmas from the Gospel of St. Luke.
