Description: Byrdcliffe is pleased to present a unique shopping experience, Byrdcliffe by Design, Saturday, February 18 – Monday, February 20 at the Kleinert/James Center for the Arts, 36 Tinker Street, Woodstock. Sixteen of the most talented artisans in the Hudson Valley will participate in a 3-day showcase, introducing their newest designs along with their most popular handcrafted creations.
Not only will shoppers discover what local Hudson Valley artists are creating, they will have an opportunity to meet and discuss their craft with them. For a full list of participating artisans, go to: www.byrdcliffe.org.
Among the items you will find at Byrdcliffe by Design: functional, clever and sleek ceramics – including extra large coffee mugs and very necessary berry bowls; custom made wood furniture; hand carved kitchen boards and bud vases; hand blown glass items; silver jewelry; hand woven table runners; fashionable accessories made from silk, mohair and angora. In addition, some of Byrdcliffe’s favorite caterers will be on hand to provide gourmet food and beverages.
