kiwanis Kingston Classic

Title: kiwanis Kingston Classic
Location: Dietz Stadium, Kingston, NY
Description: The 10k course is USATF and there will be a 2.1 mile fun run. New to the race this year is the Team Challenge. Groups, schools and organizations can compete against each other to win the Mayor’s Cup Trophy. Als new this year is the creation fo FanZones. Ten Fan Zones will be set along the race course for thepurpose of encouraging and motivating the runners as they pass. Zonew will compete against each other for the chance to win a cash award for charity. Saturday nightt, April 16th runners registered for the next day’s Classic can carb-load with competitors. Join fellow runners for camarderie, pasta, music, and sports expos. Awards, food and music will follow the race on Sunday. Pre-registrtion for the Kingston Classic is $20, $25 the day of the events. Students receive a $5 discount on both days. Proceeds benefit local Kiwanis youth funds, including scholarships for local students.
